Equipment
The images featured on this website were captured with a wide range of cameras - from point/shoot to SLR cameras. My current system features a relatively small collection of digital SLR gear to accommodate my preferred shooting style. The speed afforded by using an SLR system allows me to adapt quickly to changing conditions in the outdoors. And these days, the digital SLR also offers extremely good image quality - capable of producing fine photographic prints.
My current setup includes a Nikon D2x camera body and the following lenses: Tokina 12-24mm, Nikon 35mm f/2, Nikon 50mm 1.8 and a Nikon 70-300mm VR. I also carry circular polarizer and neutral density screw-in filters. In 2009, I am starting to experiment with 4x5, pinhole and Holga cameras for my nature photography. My photographs are processed in my digital darkroom studio, which includes: a Mac G5 computer, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and an Epson professional pigment printer.
