6/5/08 : Checking in ...



Life in Montana is wonderful ... and somehow we're STILL unpacking and settling in after the move. And although I haven't had time to update my website like I want to, I've managed to get out and photograph some of my new surroundings. Click here and here for some samples of my latest photography.

In other news, Ritz Carlton Magazine is currently featuring a photograph of mine in their current issue. (Click the graphic above to view. ) And many thanks to Warren-Grady Art Advisory for selecting some of my work to be displayed in The Little Nell hotel in Aspen, Colorado.

3/4/08 : Moving!
Over the next few weeks, I will be relocating my family and my business to the beautiful SW corner of Montana. This major life change is very exciting for a variety of reasons, but especially for the new photographic opportunities it will bring. Obviously, my ability to interact online will be shut down for awhile. I may not respond quickly to email, and I will not be able to fulfill print orders until after April 1st. Please keep this in mind for the next few weeks! Thank you.

2/21/08 : New gallery website, and affordable prints!
I'm now putting the finishing touches on a new Smugmug gallery website. Click here to view the new gallery, which features many of my favorite landscape and nature photographs. Included are numerous older images that have been removed from JesseSpeer.com. The purpose of this new gallery website is to offer smaller photographic prints at very affordable prices. You can now buy quality Jesse Speer prints for $30 or less!

I've been so impressed with the ease and quality of the Smugmug service that I can easily recommend their online gallery service for anyone who wants to share photos online. They've also given me a coupon to share ... enter "SqTAYSaJFq8SM" at signup for $5 off any subscription.

2/15/08 : Busy, busy, busy ..
It's been a busy winter for me, and very little of it (unfortunately) has involved photography. Not that I can complain though! My wife and I welcomed our second child in January - a healthy baby girl! We are very proud.

In early February, I completed the redesign of photographer Michael Gordon's portfolio website. Michael is a very talented photographer, who's personal vision and approach to photography is an inspiration to me. Check out his new website ... the result of a collaboration with my buddy Jack Brauer and Wide Range Galleries.

Recently, a selection of my photographic prints have been installed at the Gateway Canyons Resort in Colorado's red rock country ... thanks to a collaboration with artworker Nancy Woelfel. The remote resort sits in the heart of western Colorado's best scenery.

And finally, I am currently working on a new photo gallery that will offer online ordering of very affordable 8"x12" (and even smaller) prints. Look for this announcement soon.

1/12/08 : New Screensaver
A brand new screensaver is now available on my Special Offers page. The saver features 40 of my favorite Colorado photos from 2006 and 2007. The screensaver is now available for Windows and Mac (including Vista and Leopard). Still only $3.95!

1/11/08 : Home Page Slide Show
I've added more than 20 new photos from my 2007 Colorado travels to the home page slide show. If you haven't seen the home page in awhile, click the link and soak in some new scenery for a little while. Enjoy!

1/9/08 : New Features!

And finally, my Limited Editions page will be home to a new series of limited edition prints ... coming soon.

1/8/08 : A New Printing Process
My Prints information pages have been updated to reflect a new printing process. All of my prints are now produced on cotton fine art papers. This new type of print features longer print life, absolutely no glare and a very appealing three-dimensional quality. Click the link above for more information.

1/21/07 : New Website Design
You've probably noticed that JesseSpeer.com has received a face lift! The fresh design coincides with the installation of a new, dynamic database system that now powers this website. This website is the result of a collaboration with my good friend, fellow photographer and web guru Jack Brauer. We have recently joined forces to offer a variety of dynamic website products for photographers. The overhaul of this website was one of our first joint projects. The result is a website that I can maintain completely through a web browser - which will likely lead to more frequent updates and photos additions!

I encourage you to browse around. Please let me know if you find any errors, as we are putting the finishing touches on the website. I also encourage you to sign up for my new email newsletter, which I plan to send out every month or so. In addition to notifying you of new photos and features, I will occasionally offer print discounts to my newsletter friends (and sometimes even print giveaways!).
